2011年10月にスタートした『Persona4 the ANIMATION』は、PS2用ゲームソフト「ペルソナ4」を原作に制作されたオリジナルアニメ!
家庭の事情で叔父の住む稲羽市へと越してきた鳴上悠。
そんな田舎町で、八十神高校の新しいクラスメイト達と過ごす生活が始まる――。
しかし転校初日の朝、市内でとある女子アナウンサーの遺体がテレビアンテナに吊るされた状態で発見される。
町を覆う原因不明の霧と、若者達の間で囁かれている「マヨナカテレビ」の噂…。
個性豊かな友人たちと過ごす日々の中、徐々に迫りくる異変は、果たして何をもたらすのか?
正体不明の犯人を追うミステリー要素と、異世界でのバトル、そして合間で繰り広げる仲間達との青春群像劇。3つの要素が並行しながら物語が展開する!!
